A building block of the SNB1, the homodyne detector is useful in a variety of applications as a stand alone product. The balanced detector is a useful receiver in applications with low optical signal to noise ratio, such as LIDAR, imaging, coherent communications and in quantum optics.

The beta product is ready and available in two variants, the BD200FC-InGaAs and the BD200FC-Si. Chip based detector to be available soon.
